Job Details:
Job Summary: Responsible for various repair and maintenance activities to support assigned programs. Responsible for conducting battery management, including charging and recharging of battery fleet; maintaining data on battery health statistics and replacement of broken batteries. This position typically works under close supervision and direction.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs equipment preventive and corrective maintenance
Maintains cleanliness of equipment, training facilities and vehicles
Assists the issue and receipt process for the instrumentation training equipment using Cubic’s inventory management tool
Fits training equipment to personnel and vehicles
Ensures work is completed within assigned KPIs
General Duties and Responsibilities:
Comply with Cubic’s Quality Management System
Comply with Cubic Occupational Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures
Comply with security in accordance with established policies and procedures of the organisations
Comply with Cubic Human Resources Procedures
Other duties as requested
Minimum Job Requirements:
Qualifications
Desirable
Holder of Construction White Card
Forklift Licence holder
Experience
Computer literate
Personal Qualities
Ability to work individually or within a small team
Ability to travel and work outdoors in remote field environments
Excellent interpersonal skills
High levels of customer support and service delivery\
Ability to work in hectic and noisy environments
Must be able to stand or sit for long periods
Condition of Employment:
Successful outcome of a National Police Check
