Job description

Needing a detail-orientated administrator who is familiar with the construction and insurance industries

Your new company

Our client is a highly successful consulting company through its national network of consultants, which provides specialist reporting services to the insurance industry to assist in assessing the claims process and providing technical documentation that facilitates the appropriate repair process. The company does not deliver any construction repair work themselves, they are purely a consulting business which is rapidly growing and, due to this growth, requires another Report Review Administrator to join the team.

Your new role

As a Report Review Administrator, you’ll be required to manage several job allocations at any one time with a focus on the provision of high quality, fit for purpose reporting to assist the end user in adding value to the Insurance Claim process.

The role requires the Report Review Administrator to work in a fast-paced environment with a small team. The role is suitable for a person with a high level of organisation skills, an eye for detail and accuracy, good analytical skills and with the ability to identify shortcomings in logic and technically based report submissions to ensure the final product meets with the business’s key measures for reporting in a timely fashion. While a degree of autonomy is expected, the role is supported by the Business Manager and together with an environment of collaboration offered by the wider team.

What you'll need to succeed

As the successful candidate, you’ll ideally have demonstrated experience in a similar role, have a high level of attention to detail and be technically minded. You’ll also possess the following.

  • 12+ months experience in Insurance property Claims/Assessment
  • General construction experience (preferable)
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Proficient in Cloud based/Windows file management (Drop box equivalent)
  • Ability to multitask and excellent time management skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Being a team player
  • Certificate IV or Diploma in General insurance (preferred but not essential)

What you’ll get in return

You’ll secure a full-time permanent position where you will be rewarded with an attractive salary package, exposure to large national accounts and become part of a small friendly team based in the Hobart CBD.
