The Opportunity
In this newly created key role you will work closely with cross functional teams and will oversee the design, delivery, and maintenance of end-to-end data, reporting, and analytics solutions, (including self-serve analytics), ensuring accuracy and scalability through appropriate reviews and automation.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Data Analytics & Reporting and taking a hands on approach, your key responsibilities will include:
- Partner with the business to understand and translate their needs into relevant data and Reporting & Analytics solutions.
- Define data requirements of respective programs/funders/operations, identify issues/gaps
- Work with data engineering team to provide data requirements for new analytics and reporting work requests.
- Plan, prioritise, coordinate, and review team deliverables, timeline, and utilization for optimized team productivity and manage expectations with stakeholders
- Lead, develop, and retain a high-performing team of analysts. Mentor, and evaluate the performance of team members.
- Support the team is creating high quality dashboards and reports.
About You
You love data, business intelligence, Reporting & Analytics, and be excited by the ability to influence business decisions to improve customer health outcomes, service delivery/operations, and business performance.
Experienced in managing and supporting a team, you will equally comfortable liaising with technical teams and business leaders. Additionally you will bring:
- Proven experience in creating insightful self-service analytics dashboards and data visualisation in Tableau or similar BI/Analytics tools, including gathering business requirements
- Excellent capabilities to work with large/complex data sets and be able to extract, merging and preparing data from different data sources or data warehousing systems to provide actionable insights or automate reporting process.
- Strong knowledge in SQL, SAS, Python; proficiency in Excel.
- Experience working with enterprise database platforms such as AWS Redshift or SQL Server.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional technical teams to improve data quality/capability and provide new data requirements for analytics and reporting purposes.
- Previous experience with call centre operational reporting or workforce planning would be highly regarded
