We are seeking an experienced Requirements Engineer for an Owners team vacancy working on multiple Green Energy/Renewables projects.
This is a Perth (eastern suburbs) based role and 12-month contract.Your Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and prioritize business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
- Develop clear, concise, and comprehensive requirement and document in the requirements management system
- Utilize industry-standard methodologies and tools to document requirements and maintain traceability throughout the development process.
- Manage changes to requirements, assess impacts, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, product managers, development teams, and quality assurance engineers.
- Define acceptance criteria and test cases based on requirements in collaboration with quality assurance teams.
- Participate in reviews and inspections to verify that implemented solutions meet specified requirements and quality standards.
- Conduct validation activities to ensure that the delivered product meets stakeholder expectations and business needs.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the Requirements Engineering function.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Requirements Engineer in an engineering product development environment.
- Proficiency in requirements management tools such as Polarion X, DOORS, Jama Connect, or similar.
- Experience with systems engineering processes and methodologies is a plus.
- Relevant certifications for Requirements Engineering advantageous.
