Comprehensive training will be provided in specific areas as needed.
Responsibilities
- Animal Care and Research Exposure: Display a willingness to work with live laboratory mice, including daily exposure to research cigarette smoke, and the ability to monitor mice during and after exposure.
- Histological Techniques: Demonstrate the ability to independently learn and proficiently perform histological techniques.
- Team-Oriented: Embrace a strong team focus and collaborate seamlessly with colleagues and researchers.
- Independent Work: Demonstrate the capability to work unsupervised with a high level of trustworthiness.
- Molecular and Cell Biology Proficiency: Possess competence in performing molecular and cell biology assays, including PCR, RT-PCR, Western Blotting (WB), and histology.
- General Laboratory Tasks: Be proficient in general laboratory tasks, including lab chores and maintaining lab supplies and inventory.
About You
- Have a Bachelors of Science.
- Computer proficiency
- Able to comply with standard work instructions and procedures.

Terms of Appointment
An initial 1 year contract will be offered, renewable subject to funding.
