The role
As a consultant, you’ll be instrumental in deploying empirical strategies that shape opinions, manage risks and uncover opportunities in ever-changing environments. You will help clients gain a competitive edge in both the commercial and political realms. By leveraging your expertise, you’ll contribute to clients’ success by providing them with valuable insights and strategic guidance.
  
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, collaborate on challenging projects, and make a meaningful impact in the realms of business and politics.
  
What you’ll do
  • Facilitate and lead client workshops, ensuring they are well-prepared and effectively executed to address their specific needs.
  • Engage with clients directly to gain a deep understanding of their unique business challenges, actively listening and gathering relevant information.
  • Conduct comprehensive quantitative and observational data analyses, leveraging empirical strategies to uncover valuable insights and trends.
  • Collaborate with a team of experts to synthesize data findings into meaningful recommendations for clients, ensuring they are evidence-based and aligned with their goals.
  • Develop clear and compelling client presentations, effectively communicating the recommendations from the analysis concisely and impactfully.
  • Continuously stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market shifts that may impact clients’ businesses, proactively integrating this knowledge into analyses and recommendations.
  • Work closely with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting on project progress, ensuring clients are informed about milestones, deliverables and potential challenges.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to refine and improve methodologies for data analysis, ensuring the use of cutting-edge techniques and tools.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong relationships and delivering exceptional customer service, exceeding their expectations.
  
Knowledge and experience
  • Strong analytical, communication and quantitative skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Suite (Word and Excel)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, public policy, politics, law or a related field
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Outstanding project management skills
  • Shows a genuine desire to continuously learn and grow, staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
  • Thrives in a dynamic work environment and contributes to a positive and enjoyable workplace atmosphere.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively provide high-quality research, briefs and advice to clients.
  • Proficient in utilising strong analytical skills to perform quantitative and observational data analyses, extracting valuable insights from complex information.
  • Ability to translate data analyses into well-founded recommendations that address clients’ specific needs and objectives.
  • Strong presentation skills, capable of delivering recommendations to clients in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
