The Quality and Outcome Monitoring Manager will guide and inspire a dedicated team of five to six Research Assistants to support you in contributing to the success of a 5-year NHMRC partnership grant, 'Systems Thinking with Active Implementation Research (STAIR).' Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting and advancing this transformative initiative.

As a Quality and Outcome Monitoring Manager you will:

  • Lead data collection and synthesis and translation for informing decision making in STAIR
  • Coordinate collection of implementation and health economic data this includes managing data collection systems and maintaining data protocols and compliance with ethical standards.
  • Recruit and manage research assistants to prepare for and gather data for intervention, implementation and economic analysis.
  • Liaise with project partners to integrate and align project data with existing data and data collection processes in schools.
  • Liaise with project partners to facilitate ethical, responsible, diligent and competent data collection and dissemination.
  • Liaise with research team and Prevention Support System Manager to facilitate translation of project knowledge for use by intervention schools.
  • Receive guidance from a leadership team with representatives from schools, the research team and project personnel.

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • PhD or near completion of one in a relevant discipline
  • Experience working in/with primary schools to gather behavioural data from children and environmental data from schools.
  • Familiarity with activity registers
  • Familiarity with community-based systems dynamics and implementation science
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Experience in teaching and research
