Are you passionate about maintaining the highest standards of Research Integrity and Compliance? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a thorough understanding of regulatory frameworks? If so, we invite you to join our team as the Research Integrity & Compliance Officer (RICO).
As Research Integrity and Compliance Officer you will play a crucial role in ensuring the University’s adherence to the TEQSA Higher Education Standards Framework (HESF), the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research, the Defence Trade Controls Act, and other regulatory requirements.
Working as part of a team dedicated to fostering a culture of responsible research at UOW, you will provide administrative and strategic support to uphold Research Integrity and research governance processes. This includes managing Research Integrity queries, preparing complex correspondence, report writing, policy development, compliance monitoring, interpreting legislation and guidelines, and providing advice and training to Research Integrity Advisors, research staff, and students.
Success in this role will require initiative and a pro-active approach to work as well as the ability to work collegially within a team.
