Research Nurse or Research AssistantAbout the RoleThe Research Assistant works closely with Principal Investigators, research and clinical staff to co-ordinate and support research activities conducted at Ramsay Clinic Northside to ensure that a high quality, professional and efficient research service is consistently provided in accordance with Good Clinical Practice and appropriate clinical trial regulations.The Research Nurse / Assistant will assist with participant recruitment, data collection, data organisation and data management. Other activities to be performed include promoting the studies internally, recruitment and assessment of suitable participants for inclusion in the trials. Training and supervision will be provided.This fast paced and highly rewarding role reports to the Clinical Trials and Research unit Manager.The Position

• A fixed term, part-time position for 12 months (with a possibility of extension for 12 more)
• 4 days a week, flexible arrangement
• No shift work

Salary is based on qualifications and experience.About You

• An agile, critical thinking health care professional currently authorised to practice by AHPRA or equivalent allied health or science qualification.
• Experience in providing care for people in the area of Mental Health, including but not limited to mood and eating disorders, PTSD and additions.
• Demonstrated highly organisational, administrative and time management skills and ability in problem-solving, priority setting and working to tight deadlines.

You will also demonstrate:

• Excellent organisational skills, having the ability to organise, take initiative and follow up independently
• Demonstrable commitment to high professional standards in all aspects of work.
• Demonstrated leadership ability working in a multidisciplinary health care team.
• Computer software, informatics, data collection and/or media skills.
• Demonstrated understanding of clinical trials methodology and knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (ICH-GCP) requirements is desirable
