Located in the purpose built Kinghorn Cancer Centre, we are one of the largest clinical trials centres for oncology in Australia. We are looking for highly motivated candidates with interests in both clinical / case management of advanced cancer patients and research / clinical trials practice. We provide learning and development pathways for Clinical Research Coordinators based on their specific backgrounds. Background in ICU, A&E and Acute Care nursing is an advantage but not essential. Excellent opportunity for experienced clinical nurses looking for career change. Excellent opportunity for experienced Trial Coordinators looking to work in higher levels of research such as Phase 1/Early Phase. The role involves case managing patients during their time on clinical trials and being the main point of contact for trial sponsors and other research partners. Experience with secure data management, participant trial data collection, participant organisational skills, ability to rapidly master new concepts and skills and detailed knowledge of HREC and RGO submissions6. Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills7. Demonstrated Clinical knowledge and experience working in Oncology, Haematology and/or Research8.
