What you'll be doing

The primary purpose of this position is to provide support to the clinical research staff across SCHN to enable them to deliver high quality clinical research including facilitation and preparation for the National Clinical Trials Accreditation. The Research Quality Manager will be responsible for overseeing and delivering clinical research-specific training, and will support implementation of standardised policies, procedures, practices and processes to ensure that all clinical research projects are run to high and consistent quality standards.
The Research Quality Quality Manager will conduct a gap analysis to determine level of organisational maturity against the National Clinical Trials Accreditation Framework.

Tertiary qualifications in a health care discipline and experience in clinical research especially clinical trials, including understanding of research regulatory frameworks.

Demonstrated experience preparing and facilitating the accreditation process, in particular, experience with or understanding of the National Clinical Trials Accreditation Framework and requirements.

Demonstrated ability to conduct audits, write reports and implement recommendations.

Demonstrated track record leading project teams to deliver outcomes in a highly complex and busy environment within tight timeframes and with competing priorities.

Demonstrated excellent high level written and verbal communication skills with an ability to tailor communication styles to suit the audience.

Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate, consult and negotiate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

A NSW Drivers Licence and a willingness to travel between SCHN facilities as required.
