Your new role
The successful candidate will manage relationships with stakeholders to support the delivery of Curtin’s research strategy.
Previous experience within the educational sector is highly desired.
As the Research Relationships Coordinator you will be responsible for:
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide support and advice to research stakeholders based on a detailed understanding of researcher needs and an understanding a range of university policies and external requirements
- Develop and maintain information and materials for websites, guidelines, workshops and training sessions
- Coordinate, participate and present information in workshops information and training sessions
- Gather and assess information and make recommendations
- Contribute to the development and use of systems and processes which capture, measure and promote the broad economic, social and cultural impact of research and its outputs
- Engage and collaborate with key university service providers (e.g. Legal Services, Financial Services, People & Culture, DTS and Properties)
- Support the embedding of a change in the service delivery offered to Curtin’s Researchers by always being committed to improvement and new ways of working
- Completion of a diploma qualification with relevant work experience; or equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
- Experience in and commitment to the implementation of best practice, continual improvement, and client focused service delivery standards to deliver effective and efficient customer service
- Excellent interpersonal and the ability to work collaboratively across an organisation to develop strong relationships and networks, work collaboratively within a team and provide supervisory guidance to others
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated effective time management and organisational skills
