About the role:
Starting in a part time capacity (20 hours per week) with a path to full time employment, this is not a role for someone who simply wants to sit in an office and answer the phone, it is for a customer focused service superstar, someone who wants to give our clients the best possible experience and will not settle for “good enough”.

Working as part of a supportive and collaborative office team based on Collins Street near Parliament station, you will have support from the events, marketing, executive management and venue operations teams, your input will be valued, your ideas listened to and your contribution rewarded.

The key responsibility of this position is to efficiently respond to guest enquiries and requests across email, phones, and face to face ensuring that our guests get the information that they need, when they need it.

On a daily basis you will monitor reservations and provide ad-hoc administrative support to front of house and back of house teams, all the while delivering professional, friendly, and knowledgeable customer service.

About you:

You have a vibrant personality, are professional and always well-presented, with demonstrated experience in a customer service role ideally within the restaurant industry.

You will be confident and comfortable communicating with guests, someone who can exceed guest expectations and know what to do when you don’t know the answer. 

Exceptional time management, organisational, and administration skills along with a high level of attention to detail are required to succeed in this role.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required and familiarity with bookings and event management software such as Seven Rooms, Venue Ops or Momentus Elite is to advantage.

Farmer's Daughters is a multi-level restaurant and bar in the Melbourne CBD offering farm to table dining with a focus on Gippsland produce and sustainability.

Each level offers a slightly different experience from casual and semi-formal dining to a rooftop cocktail bar, that has an amazing back-bar of all Australian spirits.

Victoria by Farmers Daughters follows a similar ethos but the focus is on Victorian produce. Our restaurant and event space with a fantastic terrace bar overlooks the Yarra River at Federation Square. 

Morena our soon to open Latin American formal dining restaurant will set a new standard in the Sydney food scene.
