Job DescriptionReporting directly to the Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing, the
Reservations Manager holds a pivotal role in overseeing room inventory for Mercure Sydney (517 rooms) and ibis Sydney World Square (166 rooms). This position entails fervently training and guiding our team towards success, alongside maintaining the seamless functioning of day-to-day operations within the Reservations department. We seek an individual with exceptional leadership and motivational capabilities, coupled with the aptitude to collaborate closely with various departments to achieve the objectives of both hotels.
QualificationsTo qualify for this position, you must hold full Australian working rights. We seek individuals who are detail-oriented, organized, and possess excellent communication skills. You should demonstrate an outcome-driven approach towards achieving performance and results, coupled with a natural talent for building and nurturing both internal and external client relationships. Experience in a comparable, high-volume hotel environment is essential, along with proficiency in tools such as Opera Cloud, OSEM, and Accor Reservations Systems. Additionally, familiarity with OTA/GDS systems is a prerequisite.
