About the Role
We are seeking skilled Career Medical Officers (CM0’s) / Resident Medical Officers (RM0’s) who have a strong interest in acute surgical and medical care. You will be working closely with our accredited Visiting Medical Officers (VMO’s), across a range of specialities supported by an exceptional clinical nursing team. We offer a flexible roster that operates with several varied shifts Monday to Friday and Weekends, consisting of day, evening, and nights. This role is a great opportunity to use your clinical assessment and diagnostic skills within a supportive, collegial environment.
About You
You will be a skilled PGY3+ CMO and possess general medical registration with the Medical Board of Australia. You have good acute clinical skills, are proactive, a good communicator, keen to learn and provide education where required and able to work closely with the medical and clinical staff.
Essential Criteria:
AHPRA Registration
PGY3+
Previous experience in a similar role or as a Registrar in a similar role
Demonstrated high level of clinical competence
Highly developed verbal and written interpersonal communication skills
Computer literacy in Microsoft Suite.

Northern Private Hospital will be a premier, state of the art facility. Located in the Riverlee New Epping precinct, 18km north of Melbourne’s CBD, the hospital will open in early 2024.

Requirements
Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
