This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time appointments for 6, 12 or 24 months with the possibility of extension(s).

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 02/02/2025.

Appointments for this position will not commence until 2025

Position Profile: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Resident Medical Officer of Emergency Medicine to join our dynamic team for the 2025 medical intake. In this role, you will provide top-notch clinical service to all hospital patients under the guidance of experienced Clinical Supervisors including Consultants and Registrars. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that values Commitment, Accountability, Respect and Excellence.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge and skills in the field of Emergency Medicine through the numerous learning opportunities available.

Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital (SCGH) is one of Australia's leading teaching tertiary hospitals. Located at the Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre 4km from Perth city centre, SCGH provides a comprehensive range of clinical service including trauma, emergency and critical care, orthopaedics, general medicine, general surgery and cardiac care. It is home to WA's only comprehensive cancer centre - the largest cancer treatment centre in the

State - and is the State's principal hospital for neurosurgery and liver transplants.
