We are looking for someone to join our Hospitality team at Ballina and Byron Bay NSW to ensure the Residential Aged Care Facilities are cleaned and maintained in accordance with prescribed routine and infection control guidelines.

Who you’ll be working for
St Andrew’s Village Ballina is a leading, charitable not-for-profit provider of residential aged care with a rich local history of 40 years.
What you'll be doing
Key duties and responsibilities for the successful applicant will include:
- Relevant cleaning experience in Aged Care or Health environment (desirable but not essential)
- Demonstrated understanding of person-centered care
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment
- Ability to time manage and prioritise workloads
- Punctuality and reliability
- High level of cleaning skills
- Knowledge in the following areas:
- Manual Handling practices
- Work Health and Safety practices
- Infection Control and Housekeeping protocols
- Usage of cleaning equipment
- Basic knowledge of chemical usage
- Flexibility to work extra shifts or different shifts if required.
- Knowledge of the need to respect all residents’ rights, and maintain confidentiality, and privacy at all times.
What skills & attributes will I need?
- Ability to communicate professionally with residents, families, and all levels of staff
- Physically fit and able to apply safe manual handling practices
- Able to use smartphone / tablet and learn new systems for work purpose
- Evidence of COVID 19 vaccinations
- 2 recent workplace referees.
