  • Fixed-term Part-time contract 21hrs/week until June 2024

City of Newcastle (CN) is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Resilience and Risk Reduction Advisor with strong project management experience to join our Risk and Audit team to deliver locally based risk reduction and mitigation solutions to improve disaster resilience across NSW communities.

As the Resilience and Risk Reduction Advisor you will be pivotal in identifying natural hazard risks and vulnerabilities that will assist in the development of CN's specific disaster reduction solutions that will prevent new, reduce existing and manage residual disaster risk in return seeing you build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to project manage the funding grant's deliverables as they apply to CN.
