Resilience & Protection Lead | Work From Home

The CompanyAs a household name with a global presence, this organisation is one of our countries leading companies. The business is currently undergoing a major uplift of its entire technology framework, integrating a variety of new systems.We are currently seeking an experienced Resilience & Protection lead to manage the review of business continuity processes, disaster recovery policies, and IT Service Continuity as part of a major operational uplift. As the lead for this critical initiative, you will be responsible for ensuring that the business practices are aligned with the latest industry standards and that they are implementing the necessary controls to minimize operational and financial risk. The RoleThis is a 6-month temp role with a view to permanent that will include but is not limited to the following key responsibilities:Develop a strategic roadmap for bolstering enterprise business resilience and disaster safeguarding. This strategy spans Crisis and Emergency management, Business Continuity, IT Service Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Protective Security, and SustainabilityImplement robust programs for Enterprise Protective Security and Resilience, designed to navigate risks with respect to the approve risk appetite. Ensure steadfast compliance with regional regulations while upholding the tenets of the businesses global resilience policies.Evaluate and category potential risks and threats to the on-going financial and operational success of the businessGuide crisis management responses and mobilize resilience plansManage education and training initiatives, ensuring all stakeholders are up to date with protective security and resilience measuresOversee physical protective security, particularly in relation to data center service managementCoordinate all local environmental initiatives in collaboration with the global sustainability teamManage enterprise protection and resilience budgetsReporting into the CTO the successful candidate must demonstrate previous experience building protective measures working within an immature resilience environment.This role is highly flexible, with the ability to work entirely From Home - and standard operating procedure is 3 days in office 2 days at home.
