We aim to provide the local communities with a best choice of Chinese restaurant for spicy and delicious Chinese dishes.
We are now looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team to drive the growth of our business, and enhance our brand reputation in Sydney.
The Restaurant Manager we are looking for will be responsible for the following roles and duties:
1. Making sure that the restaurant’s dining facilities are compliant with health regulations, ensuring that they are clean, nice and functional.
2. Responsible for organising and controlling the restaurant’s operations to provide dining and catering services to customers.
3. Evaluating the current processes for functions, including enquiries, bookings, follow up, rostering.
4. May plan and organise special functions held at the restaurant.
- Gaining feedback from customers and assessing their satisfaction with the service and meals.
6. Arranging the purchase and pricing of stock and goods according to the budget of the restaurant.
7. Selecting, training and supervising wait staff and kitchen staff to ensure consistency in customer experience. .
8. Maintaining and keeping good records of the financial transactions and the levels of stock.
9. Together in consultation with Chefs, planning and modifying the restaurant’s menus.
10. Ordering the type and quantity of food and ingredients required from the supplier and ensuring consistency in quality.
11. Ensuring stability in quality of food, and recording customer’s customized requirements for food.
12. Managing the scheduling and arrangement of restaurant staff.
13. Managing sales and profit targets, and participating in business planning.
14. Ensuring the responsible service of alcohol on the venue.
15. Occasionally taking bookings and reservations, taking orders and greeting customers.
What you will need at minimum to succeed:
· At least two years' relevant experience working in a commercial restaurant setting
· Hospitality management Diploma qualification
· Excellent hygiene and OH&S practices
· Good communication and teamwork skills
