The Fishheads Restaurant is freshly renovated restaurant with a new menu, cocktail list, and local crafted beers on tap.
Fishheads Restaurant is an ocean-front venue for locals and tourists. We have all types of customers as well as having a family friendly atmosphere. People can drop in for a bite to eat, drink a cocktail, wine or local tap beer while looking over Byron Bay’s beach.
We are committed to bring our customers fresh seasonal, local, and sustainable produce, as well as a high quality of food including gluten free and vegan options. We have a separate takeaway area that looks over the beach and lighthouse.
We are looking for our superstar Restaurant manager/ Shift Supervisor to join our team.

The Position:
- Full-time
- Manage the daily operations of the venue and help continue its growth
- Supervision and management of FOH staff
- Staff selection, rostering, and training
- Maintaining high levels of service for our patrons
- Reporting and cash-ups
- Hands on management style with much time spent on the floor leading from the front.
Requirements:
- Current RSA
- Excellent English verbal skills
- Full working rights in Australia
- Having a proactive, and solution-focused approach to improving guest satisfaction
- Good interpersonal skills
Package options:
Restaurant Manager
Weekly salary of $75K to $80k plus super plus tips and free meals.
Shift Supervisor
Weekly salary of 65k to $70k plus super and tips
