The Role
Previous experience in formal or casual dining restaurant, whether as a Supervisor, Assistant Manager, or in a similar role. As a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager –you will collaborate and assist the Managing Director in the Front of House operation ensuring maximum guest satisfaction and aligned with company’s vision and value. You achieve this through planning, organizing, directing and influencing the team and operation. You will provide and influence a personalized memorable dining experience by showing a genuine interest in the needs and preferences of the customers and delivering these in a passionate and confident manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Through hands on management, supervise closely the restaurant service associates in the performance of their duties in accordance with operational concept and standard
- The ability to build, motivate, train and develop a team
- Able to work under pressure, manage competing demands and respond effectively to challenges
- Delegate appropriately, duties and responsibilities to equipped and resourced associates, nurturing and developing them whilst ensuring standards of operation and safety are maintained.
- To assist in planning the roster, job tasks and work schedules to ensure that the restaurant is adequately staffed to handle the level of business.
- To assist in effective payroll control through effective job task allocation and workflow coordination .
