Who are we?
The San Telmo Group made its mark on the Melbourne restaurant scene over 10 years ago with our flagship venue, San Telmo. Delivering traditional Argentine cuisine and premium meat cooked over charcoal and fire on custom built parrilla grills. What does this role involve?
The role of Assistant Restaurant Manager focuses on the day-to-day and ongoing success of the business. Including: The usual running of the business, contributing to the growth in revenue, managing front-of-house recruitment, training and mentoring. You will be a support to the Restaurant Manager and assist them to execute the business objectives and meet KPIs.
Who is our ideal candidate?
We are looking for an individual who leads by example with a positive attitude. They would have proven experience with successful control of wage cost, cost of goods, staff turnover and driving revenue. They possess strong leadership qualities and gain respect through hard work and example. They have great product and industry knowledge and are both firm and empathetic to their team.
