Sir Paz Estate is an award-winning vineyard and restaurant in the beautiful Yarra Valley.
Having been awarded in the OpenTable Top 50 Restaurants in Australia 2023, we are growing rapidly and now seeking the professional services of a Restaurant Supervisor to join our amazing team.
We are not a ‘heavily seated / high guest-turnover’ restaurant. Rather, we focus on fewer guests seated to allow them to be immersed in the elegant yet comfortable offering, coupled with our unique, serene landscape that stands apart from any other restaurant in the divine Yarra Valley.
Reporting to our Venue Manager, you will assist in the running of venue operations, including the flow of service, the pace of the kitchen, and meeting the general needs of our guests and wine club members.
Being a vineyard restaurant, wine knowledge/appreciation is a benefit, and the successful candidate will receive on-site training from vine to glass. Continuous training and development will be provided to ensure current knowledge.
Restaurant Supervisor Requirements
- Australian resident
- Minimum of two years experience in hospitality
- Very good English verbal skills
- Very good personal grooming standards
- Knowledge of wine is desired but not essential
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, use common sense and work as a team player
- Excellent attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to both learn, share, and participate
- Lover of food & wine and a desire to provide a memorable experience for guests
