The Opportunity
As a Restaurant Supervisor at ANTARA 128, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Venue Manager in the daily operations of our establishment.
Your primary responsibility is to ensure excellent customer service, supervise the front-of-house team, and contribute to the overall success of the cafe. With your strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and passion for the hospitality industry, you will help create a warm and inviting atmosphere for our guests.
This is a full-time position working a mix of early morning breakfast and lunch shifts, and the occasional evening shift.
Your day-to-day:
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
- Supervise and provide guidance to the front-of-house team, including baristas and service staff.
- Assist in scheduling and allocating duties to ensure optimal staffing levels and smooth operations.
- Assist in achieving sales targets and maximising revenue through effective upselling techniques.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotional strategies and attract new customers.
- Monitor sales performance, analyse data, and provide insights for decision-making.
- Conduct regular quality checks on food and beverages, addressing any issues promptly.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement necessary improvements to enhance the overall experience.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of menu items, ensuring quality and consistency
Our successful candidate will have:
- Minimum two years’ experience as a Restaurant Supervisor in a venue of a similar caliber.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- A love of good food, great wine and uncommon ingredients.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities, with the capability to motivate and inspire a team.
- A detail-oriented approach with excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work across a variety of day and night shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required.
- A valid Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
