This role will be covering Sydney/Central Coast areas with Head Office based in Cardiff NSW.
KBA Restorations work closely with our Insurance division to provide end-to-end service, offering results in a shorter claim life. With our highly qualified team of knowledgeable and experienced staff, our 24 hour response for emergency services and minimising significant loss, KBA Restorations will provide a seamless customer experience.
The Role and Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support & attend at water/fire/mould affected properties with mitigation and clean up.
- Facilitate initial make-safe works such as containment, extracting water and installing drying equipment.
- Progressive monitoring and detailed reporting on restoration and mitigation of sites.
- Complete inventory of all contents items and determine if restorable, disposing of agreed items as directed.
- Conduct risk assessments on potential high risk and hazardous components of each project.
- Work collaboratively and cohesively with the National Manager
- Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders, performing all reporting, scopes, budgets, and other instructions as advised.
- Adhere to IICRC standards and guidelines.
- Steam cleaning – carpets, upholstery, rugs.
- Engaging and managing relationships with potential customers/clients
Essential Criteria:
- Prior restoration experience, preferably 2+ years’ experience in Insurance Restoration industry
- High level of customer service focus
- Interpersonal and Communication skills
- Understanding and knowledge of Insurance Industry and Australian Building Codes
Desirable Criteria:
- Hold a Construction White Card
- Have a valid driver's license
- IICRC qualifications (desired)
