Responsibilities:
- Execute emergency "make safe" procedures to minimize further damage upon initial site assessment, as necessary.
- Generate comprehensive and precise reports, scope of works, and quotations.
- Respond promptly to water and mold damage emergencies in both commercial and residential settings.
- Conduct mold remediation, structural drying, and fire restoration services concurrently with building reinstatement repairs.
- Foster effective communication by liaising with insurers, insured parties, and contractors.
- Cultivate positive relationships with all stakeholders involved in the restoration process.
- Engage in manual labor and operate specialised restoration equipment.
- Uphold rigorous Health and Safety standards, ensuring adherence to all industry regulations.
- Be open to regional and interstate travel to offer assistance during large-scale disaster events.
- Be available for after-hours and weekend shifts as needed.
- The position requires a National Police Check.
Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated expertise with a minimum of one year experience in restoration.
- Preferably hold IICRC accreditations.
- Showcase proven leadership abilities and a strong work ethic.
- Prior experience in building and contents restoration, and a background in cleaning or carpet cleaning is advantageous but not obligatory.
- Possess exceptional customer service skills.
- Capable of collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Display autonomy in task execution.
- Demonstrate efficient time-management skills.
- Possession of a current and valid driver’s license is mandatory.
