As a Restructuring & Insolvency Lawyer, you will be a key member of the growing team. You will work on complex cross-border matters, advising multinational corporations, financial institutions, and other high-profile clients. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge legal work in a dynamic and thriving international environment.
You will work on some of the biggest and most high-profile cross-border restructurings of recent years.
There is also support for relocation to Hong Kong available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- advise global investment funds, asset managers, banks, bondholders and other lenders on debt and corporate restructurings
- Handling a diverse range of restructuring and insolvency matters
- Collaborating with international teams to provide comprehensive legal solutions
- Conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and advising clients on legal strategies
- Contributing to the growth and development of the Hong Kong practice
Required Qualifications:
- Admitted to practice law in Australia
- 4-8+ years of experience in Restructuring & Insolvency law
- Strong academic background with a focus on commercial law
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
