About the role...
We are searching for a Retail Allocator- Accessories & Footwear located in our global head office in Torquay. The role will support the Sr. Buyer in maximising sales and profitability of all Accessories across our Ozmosis stores. Day to day responsibilities include;
- Responsible for viewing all new season ranges of product categories in both Ozmosis and Ripcurl retail.
- Assist the Buying process for each product category in close working partnership with Senior Buyer and Visual Merchandise Teams
- Formulate indent/replenishment purchase orders as per supplied Merch Planning Budgets
- Ensure that purchase orders are placed within Wholesale and other suppliers required time frame
- Ensure Stock models are up to date and accurate with inventory fills are placed where required
- Management of all relevant products within Ozmosis stores. Assist in the allocation of inventory to each store based on sales forecast, physical space, demographic, climatic and seasonal requirements
- Maintain awareness of current trends, in and out of the Surf industry
- Maintain an awareness of competitors product ranges and assortment
You will demonstrate your proven buying and allocation skills through your analytical thinking. You are pro-active with previous hands on retail experience. You are able to raise any concerns quickly and put together strategies to deal with them. Working closely with the Snr Buyer and other stakeholders in the business you will have great communication skills and work collaboratively to maximise margins and budgets. You will have the ability to identify fashion trends. You identify with and understand our customer and what they need for their Search.
