KAEFER Integrated Services are currently looking for a SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER (SMP) for a newly awarded project in the Pilbara Region. This role will be offered on a 2/1 Roster POH PERTH ONLY.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee, identify plan deviations, and recommend resolutions for the Engineering Lead
- Monitor performance and determine improvement areas by developing key performance indicators
- Maintain current and forecasted Cash Flow data when compared to projected Cash Flow
- Offer direct financial communication with project team, internal financing department, subcontractors, and Joint Venture owners
- Ensure financial information accuracy between program-level and subproject reporting
- Administrate and coordinate routine contract work using prescribed and standardised methods
- Coordinate with fleet administrative staff to correct income entry and equipment cost errors
- Enforce actual project data collection and weekly accurate estimates
- Recommend corrective actions to handle project compliance
- Plan for high-risk project strategic initiatives and ensure correct duration estimated tasks
- Delegate to relevant members of the KAEFER Management Team the responsibility to maintain compliance with the Contract Award and associated Management Plans
- Establishing a management review mechanism within the Management Team to regularly review, update and improve the effectiveness of the Contract Award
- Reviewing performance against objectives / KPIs and reporting on them
About You
- Demonstrated experience as a Project Engineer in a Senior role, ideally having worked for a Contractor in mining, oil & gas or heavy industry in construction
- You resume will clearly outline your experience working in the construction industry (preferably mining), within a QA system (Procore/Aconex).
- Bachelor Mechanical Degree (or relevant) OR 15yrs+ experience in a lead role in lieu of Degree (will be considered). A Cert IV in Project Management will be highly regarded
- Strong organisational ability with time management, attention to detail and problem solving capabilities
- Able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive and results oriented mindset, able to prioritize tasks effectively
