Retail Assistant

A great opportunity for an experienced Retail Assistant to join a leading gas and gear company where training and career advancement are on offer.

An exciting opportunity has arisen at their Mascot store for an experienced retail/customer service assistant. You will be liaising with trade customers and consumers, taking orders face to face, over the phone and via email.
Responsibilities

• Exceed the customer service targets for a Gas & Gear store.
• Create a professional environment to enhance the customer experience.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and well merchandised selling environment, whilst creatively merchandising the show room to attract maximum customer interest.
• Assist customers with queries and identify selling opportunities.
• Ensure the transaction process for customers is timely, efficient and accurate.
• Provide machine demonstrations to customers as required.
• Receiving, despatching and storing of cylinders and hardgoods
• Inventory stock take of hardgoods and gases on regular basis.

Required key skills

• Well presented with excellent customer service skills
• Strong selling skills
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to learn the product range and advise clients on suitable solutions
• Drivers licence preferable
• Forklift licence advantageous - if not the company will invest in training you.
