The Role
We are seeking a customer focused sales assistant to join the team based in our Kalgoorlie store where we pride ourselves on providing excellent service. As part of our team, you will be responsible for promoting our full range of gases, welding, and safety equipment to a diverse range of customers.
What you will enjoy doing
- You are in charge of phone and counter sales, processing customer orders, responding to requests for information and pricing
- Your role includes promotion and up-selling of new products
- Development and up-keep of in-store displays, and promotional material
- You will be responsible for the stock management and the dispatching and receiving of goods
- Learning and understanding modern Welding processes
What makes you great
- You have experience in customer service and sales environment
- In addition, you possess strong verbal and written communication skills and can work with minimal supervision
- You have a background in Welding or Engineering (preferable)
- Furthermore, you are reliable, dependable and want to get ahead
- Are interested in a career in Welding Industry
- You have a Forklift license or willingness to acquire one is essential
- Valid Australian Driver's License
