City Mission Op Shops are excited to offer the following vacancies:
• Kingston Store – permanent part time – 15.2 hours a week (Wednesday & Saturday)
• Moonah Sorting Warehouse & Huonville Store– permanent part time –22.8 hours a week (Thursday & Friday at Moonah and Saturday at Huonville)
• Hobart (Partridge Nest Store)– permanent part time – (Thursday & Saturday) -15.2 hours a week
*The successful applicants must be available to work on Saturdays and with flexibility to work across different stores as needed.

Working under direction from The Store Supervisor and the Retail Coordinator you will:
• Process cash and EFTPOS payments on the POS
• Balancing the till at the end of the day, and banking if directed
• Opening and closing the store
• Follow direction from the Store Supervisor to price, order and display stock while ensuring stock is rotated regularly
• Maintain the store’s appearance to a high standard
• Maintain productive working relationships with both paid and unpaid staff
• Ensure the back-of-house area is clean, clear of hazards and well organised
• Assist in event and sales days
• Support the Sorting Supervisor with a quality control of donated items, including identifying non-suitable items for on-sale and/or which items may have value as collectables
About you:
• A positive people-person with a can-do attitude and the desire to maximise the success of the store
• Relevant retail experience/skills/knowledge
• Experience coaching and mentoring a team
• Knowledge and understanding of volunteer management (desirable)
