Job description
We are currently seeking a customer passionate Design Manager to join our team in Barangaroo on a full-time, permanent position.
As Design Manager you will focus on delivering consistently high standards of Design across our national portfolio of urban regeneration precincts and retail Assets.
This will require leveraging cross-functional relationships to build and shape the role of design in collaboration with our Development team, Asset Management teams and our Tenants to develop and create places that balance commerciality and aspirational lifestyle outcomes through effective coordination, efficiency, timeliness and quality of design.
The role requires someone with experience in managing design on a range of briefs, through the pre-construction and delivery phase. You will have experience working on significant Urban regeneration projects, with some exposure to placemaking and urban design, and will have completed a relevant degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Interior Design or similar. Your experience to date will ideally derive from a shopping centre group or an architectural firm where you have gained relevant urban regeneration and/or retail sector experience.
This role is pivotal to successfully delivering the design outcomes of iconic projects and operational assets, ensuring our commitment to our core value of creating the best places by consistently delivering customer led solutions and creating positive urban design legacies.
