Senior Design Manager - Power Generation

UGL has a great record in completing renewable sector associated projects including Solar Farms, Battery Energy Storage Systems, Transmission Lines, Substations and electrical distribution. Our proven delivery means we have an exceptional pipeline.As we continue to deliver & evolve, we are looking for an experienced Senior Design Manager - Power Generation. The successful candidate will manage the project design and scope from tender, through delivery to practical completion, ensuring that the designs are completed on time, in compliance with customer requirements, with maximum efficiency in the use of company resources and maximum profitability. This role can be based in either Brisbane or Sydney.What will a day in this role look like:

• Prepare and maintain the Design Plan for the duration of the project.
• Ensure that all elements of the design are coordinated between all design team members.
• Monitor the adequacy and effectiveness of design resources allocated to the project.
• Ensure that all necessary reviews, verifications and validations are planned and conducted, and the outcomes of these are incorporated into the design.
• Ensure that the design conforms to all safety, environmental, construction, commissioning, and operating requirements.
