Key Responsibilities
- Shopify Development: Build, customise, and maintain our client's Shopify store to provide an exceptional online shopping experience.
- Collaborate with Creative Teams: Work closely with our client's design and marketing teams to implement and execute innovative web designs and campaigns.
- Optimise for Performance: Ensure our client's Shopify site is optimised for speed, performance, and scalability.
- Debug and Troubleshoot: Identify and fix bugs or issues to maintain a smooth and seamless shopping experience for our client's clientele.
- Implement SEO and Analytics: Optimise our client's Shopify site for search engines and integrate analytical tools to track performance for the business.
- Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Keep up with the latest Shopify and e-commerce trends to ensure our client's store remains at the forefront and competitive.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: At least 2-5 years of professional experience in web development with a focus on Shopify in particular.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, with an eye for detail and a knack for creating visually appealing and user-friendly designs
- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to resolve issues quickly.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and internal stakeholders.
- Creativity and Adaptability: A creative thinker and someone who can adapt to the fast-paced and ever-changing fashion industry.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript etc.
- Familiarity with Shopify Plus and its advanced features.
- Knowledge of version control systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- E-commerce Experience: Previous experience working with e-commerce platforms and understanding of retail best practices.
- Mobile Development: Experience developing mobile-first and responsive web applications.
- Web Animation and Interaction: Experience with web animations and interactive designs to enhance the user experience.
- Security & Compliance: Understanding of web security best practices and common vulnerabilities.
