The team at Lanyon Pharmacy is looking for a motivated and committed Retail Manager who is passionate about their community and the healthcare industry. We’re looking for a leader who can drive our brilliant team to the next level (while having fun!) and provide excellent care and customer service to our patients.
We’re looking for someone who will be an integral driver of results, people, and culture. The Retail Manager will work with the Pharmacist in Charge and primarily lead and manage the retail pharmacy team. The applicant for this role will also be able to negotiate their salary and weekly roster.

Lanyon Pharmacy is one of 11 pharmacies that are part of the Life Pharmacy Group. We have pharmacies across Central West NSW (Forbes, Bathurst, Dubbo, Parkes, Armidale, Orange), the ACT, and quite recently, we have acquired a new pharmacy in Queanbeyan.

Key Responsibilities
- Utilising highly developed sales and customer service skills
- Coaching and developing your team
- Managing the administration requirements of the pharmacy
- Providing advice to customers on over-the-counter medications and products
- Liaising with sales reps and head office
- Managing inventory stock control, stock takes, and ordering
- Ensuring the pharmacy at all times is merchandised according to company planograms
- Managing the staff roster and associated expenses
- Managing the pharmacy's HR functions, including training, development, and staff appraisals.
To excel in this role, you will need the following:
- Solid retail experience at senior level (min 3 yrs)
- Expertise in managing a small team
- Excellent customer skills
- Health and wellness-related product knowledge (desirable)
