Retail Marketing Manager

Our international client is one of Australia’s leading consumer electronics and home appliance brands bringing to market high quality solutions across a large and growing range of product categories.

Today they are seeking to appoint a Retail Marketing Manager to enhance brand development and to drive awareness using effective brand and product marketing strategies.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this newly created role involves the consistent execution of a variety of marketing campaigns and building credible and trusting relationships with retail partners.
This role is ideally suited to a high calibre marketing professional with extensive experience working in consumer electronics and home appliances or within the FMCG Industry.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Amplifying retail promotions and communications to increase share of voice
• Maximising ROI for all retail investments through complete oversight and management of the spend budget
• Managing POS, planograms, display orders and coordinating rollouts on time and within budget
• Management of the display budget: design, manufacturing, installation and display maintenance
• Consistently executing brand message and brand compliance across all retail touch points
• Coordination of local area marketing initiatives working within the state sales team across all retail partners
• Developing strategic and longer-term retail activation plans
• Identify and execute relevant retail shows and event opportunities
• Act as a bridge between sales, Retail Marketing, brand marketing, product marketing and digital teams
• Coordinate feedback and insights regarding retail and commercial campaigns and sales related investments
• Provide monthly ROI reports for co-operative advertising, retail displays and digital activations
• Stay informed of industry trends, consumer insights, and competitive intelligence to inform Retail Marketing strategies
• Lead the key account management team on above-the-line campaign executions, ensuring collaboration to execute campaigns across TVC, radio, catalogue, retail websites and eDMs
• Provide regular reporting to HQ on strategy and tracking Retail Marketing metrics to ensure targets are achieved and contribute insights for global strategy alignment to garner additional support where possible
• Manage local internal communications to keep the wider business updated on the latest activations and key results, fostering alignment and engagement across departments
• Work closely with product marketing, brand marketing and sales to support and amplify new product launches and drive revenue growth

What you will bring to the role:

• Demonstrated track record of developing and executing successful integrated communication campaigns across various retail accounts
• Extensive experience in Retail Marketing covering key responsibilities in the consumer electronics or FMCG Industry
• An ambitious, proactive and opportunistic attitude with entrepreneurial qualities
• The ability to lead and drive a team to success
• Extensive experience in B2B marketing including marketing strategy and planning, performance marketing, digital marketing, brand and product marketing etc
• Well-developed strategic planning skills – able to develop go to market plans and growth strategies
• Advanced organisational, written and verbal communication skills
• Tertiary qualifications in the areas of Business, Marketing or similar is preferred
