Barossa Nursery is a local family-owned and operated Garden Centre, trading seven days a week. We are able to accommodate a full time or permanent part time position whereby you will be assisting customers in our giftware showroom, processing sales and serving customers at the front counter. This position will include various roles in our main showroom while assisting other team members in other areas as required.
Duties include:
- Excellent customer focused service
- Sales of plants & lifestyle lines and services
- Customer special orders and follow ups
- Computer basic’s including Point of Sale & EFTPOS operations.
- Plant and product care and maintenance
- Receiving & dispatching stock lines
- Displaying stock to a high standard and providing inspirational ideas to customers
- This role is physical in nature and will require some heavy lifting
- General house cleaning procedures
- Awareness of Health & Safety Practices
- Weekend work is a requirement of this role
We are a 7 day a week business. Our work hours are Monday to Saturday 9am to 5.30pm, Sunday 9am to 5pm, Public Holidays 10am to 4pm. During our busy times your role may require you to work outside your usual hours. This requires flexibility to work on weekends and public holidays on some occasions.
