Retail Store Person
Role purpose and contribution
To positively contribute towards the safe, efficient and effective operation of the Retail Store with the major focus being on delivering excellent Customer Service & Satisfaction and maximising sales. To represent the brand in line with RSEA vision and values.
Role responsibilities
Job Specific Responsibilities
- Receive, unpack, and Quality Check (QC) all incoming stock in a timely manner
- Check products for damage and/or discrepancies against relevant paperwork;
- Enter details of received delivery slips, requisitions, and invoices accurately in Pronto;
- Put away all receivables into allocated areas efficiently and accurately via RF;
- Pick, pack, and dispatch all orders efficiently and accurately via RF process & procedure;
- Pick, pack, and prepare all embroidery orders efficiently and accurately via RF workflow process & procedure;
- Perform required Quality Assurance checks;
- Process returns/credits;
- Ensure inventory integrity is maintained;
- Daily/ weekly cycle counts/ stocktake
- Ensure warehouse is kept clean, and tidy and recycle waste whenever possible;
- Participate in stock takes;
- Forklift, Stock /Order Picker, EWP (MMHE) operations if licensed to do so;
- Including daily forklift checklist
- RF equipment checklist
- All reasonable duties which may be required by management;
- Provide Customer Service support to the Retail Floor/team as required
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS
- Adherence to all Processes and Procedures;
- Inform Manager of all issues affecting quality, inventory, machinery, or hardware immediately;
- Operate all machinery and equipment (i.e.; forklift, stock /order picker, EWP, pallet jack, trolley) safely;
- Ensure all equipment used is maintained to a high standard and when not in use is kept in the designated areas;
- Actively embrace coaching and other learning tools to obtain and maintain an acceptable knowledge of the system, process, and procedures;
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant legal and ethical standards;
SAFETY, HEALTH, ENVIRONMENT, AND QUALITY
- To ensure compliance with RSEA, statutory and licensing requirements (i.e.; forklift, stock /order picker, EWP,);
- Promote good workplace practices and prevent work-related injuries;
- Follow all reasonable instructions and standard safe work procedures;
- Participate in Work Place Health and Safety improvement activities;
- Act responsibly for the safety of self and others, including the identification and reporting of hazards, the wearing of designated PPE, and ensuring all equipment is in a safe condition before use;
- Conduct necessary pre-start, weekly, and/or monthly checklists and reports;
- Report all injuries, incidents, and near misses immediately to your manager;
- Identify and report all hazards, risks, and plant or equipment damage immediately
