The Role
Reporting to the Assistant Store Manager, the Sales Team Leader provides support, and direction to the team to develop selling tactics to maximise sales growth. The Sales Team Leader assists with the continuous development and improvement of general operations and processes. This includes both business and people processes and ways of working.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivers a high level of customer service both personally and within
- the team
- Manages, analyses and achieves set Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
- Personally has, and develops a comprehensive understanding of product knowledge, best sellers, product features and benefits within the team
- Encourages and maintains an engaged and enthusiastic team
- Effectively and frequently manages communication to the team
- Working collaboratively with other Team Leaders to innovate and deliver initiatives related to our people, customer and KPI targets

- 2 years experience managing a team in specialty retail / hospitality / department stores.
- Proven ability to manage staff & exceed sales goals
- Proven ability to identify top talent, create teams, and train/develop/retain great people
- Proven ability to think through complex issues, and allocate time to execute multiple tasks and changing priorities.
- Effective communication, organisation and leadership skills.
