Job location
Our Corporate Office is located at Thomas Embling Hospital just 15 minutes north of the city. ?Due to our announced expansion across all Directorates, we have a need for experienced like-minded professionals to join our team to support our growing services. Our Directorates includes Thomas Embling Hospital, Prison Operations and our Community Directorate with highly skilled disciplines including Nursing, Lived Experience, Occupational Therapy, Psychiatry, Psychologists and Social Work. We have an outstanding L&D and discipline Educator co-hort that continually upskill our already skilled and supportive team.
About the Role:
The RTW Coordinator and Claims Administrator ensures compliance with Return to Work and WorkCover Claims legislation.
As the primary contact for all injured workers, provide excellent customer service, support managers to maintain regular contact with injured workers, and lead the RTW journey.
Duties:
Serve as the Return to Work Coordinator for Forensicare and its employees.
Offer advice and support to injured workers and managers on Return to Work, WorkCover, and reasonable adjustments.
Lodge WorkCover Claims, register certificates, and process payments for injured workers.
Maintain contemporaneous notes and manage the Solv Injury system.
Collaborate with the Health Safety and Wellbeing manager to develop strategies, systems, policies, procedures, and programs ensuring legal compliance and effective RTW and WorkCover management.
About You:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety, Allied Health, Nursing or similar with extensive experience in similar roles.
Demonstrated expertise in injury management and a deep understanding of WorkCover systems and relevant legislation.
Ability to engage and influence a diverse range of individuals, with experience in public mental health being highly desirable.
Proficiency in PC use, including Word and Excel, with familiarity in PayGlobal systems beneficial.
Excellent communication skills with a proven record of initiative and achieving outcomes.
