Role purpose

The Revenue Administrator (RAD) is responsible for timely and accurate system maintenance; set up and integrity of the Property Database (including leases, recurring charges such as base rent, outgoings, rates, electricity and other miscellaneous charges); as well as ensuring all tenants are billed in accordance with the Lease in place. 

Additional responsibilities include the timely and accurate production of the Tenancy Schedule and other ad-hoc reporting published to internal and external stakeholders alike. This role will play a key part in ensuring operational excellence and continuous improvement of retailer billings, approvals and organisational reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain Vicinity ERP Property Database including Integration of New Centres, execution in property database of divested assets, completing Bank Guarantee audits and Administration of Rates
  • Produce reports which accurately reflect recoveries and income under the Lease 
  • Issue Invoices & Statements to Tenants
  • Training, Induction and Process Improvements

The role interacts with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. Key stakeholders that the role interacts with include:

  • Property Finance- Property Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Development Accounting
  • Leasing- Executive, Regional and RGM level
  • Centre teams- Admin Manager, Retail Manager, Centre Manager and Regional and RGM level
  • Tax
  • Corporate Finance- Accounts Payable, Financial Accounting
  • Legal Operations- Legal Counsel, Paralegals, Managing Legal, GM Legal Ops
  • External Reporting
  • Property Investment Analytics
  • Strategic Partnerships- Capital Transactions, Lawyers acting for Landlord/ Vendor
  • People and Organisation Development
  • External auditor Groups
  • Consultants
  • Statutory Rates authorities (Such as Council and Water)
Capability and Experience
  • You will be an experienced administrator with a background in financial administration and reporting. 
  • You will be an outstanding communicator who manages stakeholders in collaborative manner.   
  • You will be task oriented and able to manage and prioritise your workload to meet deadlines.  
  • Your will have an outstanding attention to detail, strong analytical skills and good communication skills when dealing with customers.  
  • Experience in lease documents and ERP systems such as JDE would be advantageous, but not essential.
Position Challenges & personal attributes
  • Diligence to actively follow up information which is pending from internal or external sources & escalate issues as necessary in accordance with team issues escalation plan.
  • Ability to work in a close-knit team environment supporting team members during peak work periods & times of planned & unplanned leave
  • Ability to self-prioritise own workload including delegation of tasks to teammates, so that business critical tasks are completed within set timeframes
