Exciting opportunity for an excellent Accounts Administrator in Newcastle!

Role Title: Administrator - RevenueContract: 3-month contract, potential for extensionHours: Full time Rate: $35 per hour + superLocation: New Lambton, Newcastle


Your new company Hays currently has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join the Revenue team on a full-time basis for a 3-month contract, with the potential for extension. Our client works within the health industry and is located in Newcastle.In this position, you will primarily be providing administration support to the Revenue team. We are seeking someone who is customer-centric to be the first point of contact for customers with enquiries about their fees and charges. This organisation operates in the health industry, and we are seeking someone who has previous experience working in this industry and can hit the ground running.


Your new role Your day-to-day duties will include:
  • Respond to a variety of customer enquiries via phone and email, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Provide administration assistance for the revenue collection process, including billing and invoicing.
  • Verify customer health fund account details.
  • Maintain customer health records, financial records, and complete reporting.
  • Responding to subpoena requests.
  • Work to continually improve the customer service provided to maintain an excellent standard.
  • Contribute positively to the development and culture of the Revenue Team.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Previous Administration experience is essential.
  • Experience working in the Health/Medical industry.
  • Experience with patient billing, and discussing fees and charges.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to correctly handle difficult customer enquiries.
  • The ability to remain calm whilst assisting customers and record information at the same time.
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Be tech-savvy, with the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
