Our Role
 
Are you looking for a dynamic role? Pacific Energy is growing fast so we require a Revenue and Receivables Officer who will report to the Group Receivables & Payables Manager of Pacific Energy to support our Group Receivables and Payables team.
 
You will be responsible for the execution of accurate recognition of Revenue and invoicing, along with management of Accounts Receivable balance of the Pacific Energy Groups’ (PEG) balance sheet for the Pacific Energy Renewables/Connected/Corporate Businesses. 
 
As a trusted Business Partner your key responsibilities will include:
  • Execute the day-to-day operations of the accounts receivable ledgers for our Renewables/Connected/Corporate Businesses
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the Pacific Energy Group community and in particular members of the Group Receivable and Payables team
  • Provide regular Accounts Payable support to the Group Receivable and Payables team
  • Ensure full compliance will all policies, procedures, laws and regulations
  • Active management of Revenue Recognition & Accounts receivable (Accountable)
  • Ensure accurate invoicing of customers for Renewables/Connected/Corporate Business, engage with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing and payment issues
  • Engage with customers and manage account’s relationships to ensure smooth payment of outstanding amounts and address delinquent accounts
  • Ensure Monthly Receivable ledgers are fully reconciled with customer
  • Ensure all invoices are paid as per agreed terms
  • Active management of Renewables/Connected/Corporate Business expense management system, ensuring accurate coding/allocation of cost, appropriate documentation, and corporate card management
  • Analysis & Reporting of AR results including aging of debtors
  • Manage month end close activities for the specified Receivable Ledgers
  About You: 
  • Experience in Accounts Payable or Receivable teams
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, finance processes
  • Experience in GreenTree or other ERP systems
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of products
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving
  • Strong interpersonal skills
