About the role:

Are you ready to dive into a role where your analytical prowess drives the financial success of our organisation? As a Revenue Assurance Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in managing, querying, validating, and analysing partner invoices and transaction data with meticulous accuracy.

Your keen eye for detail will ensure that full payments are received from our diverse range of partners, while your analytical capabilities will uncover insights to optimise revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilise Revenue Assurance tools and systems to govern revenue and cost transactions.
  • Develop and optimise existing controls to maximise revenue opportunities.
  • Process and analyse partner transaction data with precision.
  • Reconcile invoices and communicate authorised invoices to relevant teams.
  • Document processes and procedures, continuously reviewing and updating them for enhancement.
  • Investigate data and invoice anomalies to ensure accuracy.
  • Conduct analysis on trends in data, revenues, and KPIs.
  • Liaise with partner finance teams and counterparts to address errors, anomalies, and deliver exception reports.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams, Data and IT, Finance, and reporting to produce insights and recommend process improvements.

With a minimum of 2 years experience in the financial services industry, you bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table. Your journey through the labyrinth of Revenue Assurance has equipped you with a deep understanding of governance principles, and you're no stranger to wielding the tools and systems needed to uphold financial integrity.

But it's not just about crunching numbers—it's about painting a picture with data, revealing insights that drive strategic decisions and unlock hidden value. Your proficiency in Microsoft Excel is unmatched, and you're not afraid to roll up your sleeves and dive into SQL queries or data visualisation tools to extract actionable insights.

More than just a number-cruncher, you're a communicator extraordinaire. You possess the rare ability to translate complex financial concepts into layman's terms, forging strong relationships with our partner finance teams and counterparts. Your charm and diplomacy enable you to navigate the delicate intricacies of contractual agreements and service-level agreements with finesse, ensuring alignment and adherence across the board.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the financial services industry
  • Experience in a similar governance role, demonstrating strong analytical capabilities.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline such as Economics, Business, Finance, Commerce, Financial Accounting, Risk and Assurance, or Mathematics.
  • Proficiency in SQL queries for Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL, TM1, and Cognos Reporting is advantageous.
  • Strong willingness and ability to learn new skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as autonomously, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with people at all stages of the data chain.
