We provide a range of emergency, surgical, medical and general healthcare services, including maternity, palliative care, mental health, drug and alcohol, residential care, community health and state-wide specialist services to people and communities that are diverse in culture, age, socio-economic status, population and healthcare needs.About the roleThe Revenue Optimisation Officer will be responsible for promoting new technology on mobile devices to clinicians (PBRC Mobile) within Eastern Health, along with other billing tasks (including setting up doctors on PBRC). The main purpose is to uplift Patient revenue through improved ease and convenience to capture information and billing accuracy.About youTo be successful in this role you will possess:

• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Flexibility to travel around the various different EH sites
• The Ability to perform a wide range of administrative tasks with attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience in facilitating training in an individual or group setting
• Proficiency with Windows-based applications, MS office including Word and Excel.
• Strong knowledge of Medical billing claiming
• Proven understanding of Private health fund claiming process, inclusive of Medicare, Private health funds, TAC and Workers Compensation
• Sound knowledge of Patient Management systems i.e. iPM or other
• Medical terminology knowledge
