Your New Team & Role
Due to our continued growth and success, we are now seeking a motivated, self-starter to join our Revesby Branch. As a Storeperson, you will be assisting the daily operations for our team in the Beresfield Workshop who are results-driven, family-orientated, and most importantly value you and what you bring to the team! Look no further we have got you!For you to be successful in this role, you will have knowledge in Inventory management, dispatch, administration, and internal sales. Previous warehousing/stores experience is preferable, but we are happy to train the right candidate! Responsibilities
- Coordinating the incoming and outgoing of all goods
- Store administration such as receipting and maintaining and updating records.
- Actively participate in the safety culture of the organisation
- General warehouse organisation, cleaning & maintenance
- Loading and unloading containers
- Packing for dispatch and receiving loads
- Maintain inventory levels.
- Maintain Employee/Equipment training & maintenance records.
What we are looking for
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be part of an experienced and professional Operations team that work in sync with our Supervisors and Leadership Team. You will be a technically minded self-motivated individual, results driven with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment where you will be able to multitask and prioritise. Key requirements/skills we are looking for include:
- Computer Skills – email/ Word and Excel – Basic
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening.
- Previous Stores or Warehouse experience
- Knowledge and experience with Invoicing and receipting
- Current Forklift Licence
- Current and valid Australian drivers licence - MR (Desirable)
- Gantry crane ticket (desirable but not essential)
- A willingness to learn and build your Technical Aptitude;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills;
- Results driven team member that operates with honesty and integrity.
- High attention to detail and thoroughness in task completion
- Cert III Supply Chain Operations (Highly regarded)
