BIM / Revit Modeller (Senior)

The Company:
With a strong, multi-discipline office, this company sets the standard for excellence in building services design. Focussing on medium to major commercial projects, they specialise in mainstream mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic services while also offering other specialisations like fire safety, vertical transportation, fire protection and other specialist services. They have a brand-new office in the CBD and have created a role for an experienced BIM / Revit guru with an understanding of Engineering.
The Role:
This position exists to handle intelligent design, virtual design and revit modelling, pulling together BIM and documentation. It’s a varied and challenging, pivotal role in a tight-knit team.
You will provide modelling assistance to the mechanical, electrical, fire and hydraulics disciplines to assist in overall office modelling capability. Documentation platforms include both REVIT and AutoCAD.
Duties include:

• Modelling support in Mechanical, Electrical, Fire and Hydraulic Services documentation.
• Drawing’s setups and background updates for new and current projects.
• Management of drafting standards including organisation of drafting review checks with team members.
• Provision of clash detection reviews and reports and management of clash rectification with team.
• Continued development of templates and families in REVIT software.
• Attending project meetings as a BIM coordinator

The Person:
This is a broad role with exposure to Electrical, Mechanical, Fire, Hydraulic and other disciplines of Building services design. We are looking for:

• Australian-recognised degree or TAFE course in building design drafting or equivalent.
• Previous experience in building services consultancy or architectural firm.
• Australian citizen (preferred).
• Strong Familiarity with Revit Modelling and BIM
