Form of workThis award-winning builder is looking for an experienced draftsperson who enjoys designing & being part of a team!
The opportunity is a true designing / drafting role, and is suited to a candidate passionate about the residential industry & has had previous experience in a similar residential role.
OPPORTUNITY:
Reporting to the drafting manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Working closely in a team, drawing homes with an average value of $1.5 mil.
- Ensuring drawings meet quality standards and regulations
- Delivering accurate design documentation in a timely manner
- Updating plans with multiple variations, drawing & assessing buildability as you go.
- Manage residential home builds from concept to finish, Note: this is not a checking job as there is no offshore team.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in the role, you will have previous experience in residential construction, preferably volume.
- Proven REVIT drafting skills and experience.
- A minimum 2 years experience in residential construction in a similar role - Knock down Rebuild essential.
- Effective communications skills.
- Knowledge and experience with Building Construction, Standards, Rescode and Regulations.
- Proven drafting skills with the ability to draw homes from start to finish without an offshore team.
